Beginning this year, the University will observe Juneteenth as a paid holiday. This observance is in alignment with the University's values and in accordance with the federal holiday, on June 19, that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.
All fully benefits-eligible employees who are regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week in a position that is six months or more in duration are eligible to receive holiday pay.
