A draft of the proposed Paid Parental Leave Policy is now available online for an eight-week review and public comment period. The policy would provide six weeks of paid parental leave to benefits-eligible employees upon the birth or adoption of a child. Those eligible would include appointed professionals, classified staff, faculty and postdoctoral scholars. A similar policy for graduate assistants and associates was adopted by the Graduate College in 2010.
