Reminder for Faculty and Graduate Students: Develop Your Technology Strategy With an NSF I-Corps Grant

Tech Launch Arizona
August 13, 2018

Awards of up to $3,000 Supported with Expert Instruction to Help You Succeed

The National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps, or "I-Corps," is a program administered by Tech Launch Arizona at the UA to prepare scientists and engineers to expand their focus beyond the laboratory and increase the impact of basic research through building an understanding of their target market.

Why might I-Corps be right for you? The I-Corps Site program provides:

  • Grants of up to $3,000 for teams to travel and get to know who the customers are for their technology inventions.
  • Six weekly class sessions to help teams focus on customer discovery, learn the "Lean Launch" startup method and polish their plans, knowledge and presentation skills.
  • Experienced mentors and entrepreneurs who can help your team define and refine your strategy.

Get details and schedules, watch participant videos, and download the application by clicking here.

Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall 2018 cohort. Applications are due by 8/27/18 at 5:00 PM.
