Reminder: UAConnect365 Reauthentication June 11
This is a reminder that on June 11, 2022, basic application password authentication will be discontinued and applications, clients, and devices that are logged into the UA Microsoft account (UAConnect365 account) will be prompted for reauthentication.
After the June 11 update is complete, you will be prompted to use your email address and password to re-log in to UAConnect365 applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, TEAMS, etc.). You will then be redirected to a DUO page to complete the two-factor authentication process.
Please anticipate that the timing on the reauthentication prompts may vary widely – a smartphone may not prompt at the same time as an email client, which may not prompt at the same time as the TEAMS client, etc. The prompts may be separated by minutes or hours.
