Residency Review Committee New Member Recruitment
The Office of the Registrar is seeking University employees interested in providing service to the University community by participating on the Residency Review Committee for the 2023-2024 academic year. The committee convenes in support of the residency classification for tuition purposes process.
A student's residency classification determines if a student is billed at the in-state or out-of-state tuition rate. The committee reviews cases in accordance with Arizona Board of Regents policy and consists of employees representing various departments on campus. Typically, a committee member will spend no more than 10 hours of review throughout the semester, with meetings conducted via Zoom.
Employees interested in engaging with the larger University community and providing a valuable service to our students may apply to be a committee member by submitting the 2023-2024 Residency Review Committee Application. The application is due by Friday, May 5, 2023. If selected to be part of the committee, there will be a 3-hour, in-person workshop for new committee members in late May (lunch will be provided).
