The Division of Undergraduate Education is convening a student planning team to organize Hack Arizona, a university-wide signature academic event, to take place Jan. 17-19, 2025. Hack Arizona is the premier hackathon event in the Southwestern United States.

The student planning team needs faculty and staff mentors during the fall 2024 and early spring 2025 semesters to provide their expertise and support in the following areas:

  • Budget, Finance & Sponsorships
  • Food & Beverage
  • Mentors, Judges & Prizes
  • Schedule, Workshops & Activities
  • Media, Marketing & Communications
  • Safety & Security
  • Technology
  • Volunteers

Mentors should be available to meet with students one to two hours per week and via email to answer questions from their respective student planning team members. 

If you are interested in mentoring in any of the above capacities, please indicate your interest by filling out this brief survey by Friday, April 19.
