Please join UA colleagues and students as they explore micro-affirmations and the impact they have on student success.
The workshop will be held November 2nd, 9am-12pm, in the Student Union Memorial Center South Ballroom.
After this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Define what micro-affirmations are
- Reflect how they may have been impacted by micro-affirmations in their own lives
- Identify how micro-affirmations can be used in their campus unit to encourage sense of belonging to the students they serve
- Develop an action plan/framework for implementing micro-affirmations in their work with students
- Make initial connections between micro-affirmations, belonging and success in college
