Subject: Story Time Character Hour – Where Community, Kids and Characters Bring Stories to Life!
Date: Jan 30, 2023

Join us every first Saturday of the month for Story Time Character Hour at the BookStores in the Student Union Memorial Center, University of Arizona. There will be two events per Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Story Time is an engaging event for children ages two to five. It's full of reading, activities, and crafts – complete with the chance to meet and take pictures with their favorite storybook characters! Popular events feature kid-favorite characters such as Taco Dragon, Pete the Cat and Rainbow Fish. Best of all, the event is absolutely FREE and open to the public.

"This is a wonderful event hosted by the BookStores to bring stories to life for the young ones. We really enjoy seeing their faces light up when they interact with the characters. This is a community event – both parents and kids seem to enjoy the stories and crafts," said Yadhi Acevedo, The University of Arizona BookStores' Outreach and Engagement Coordinator.

Parking in the Second Street Garage (on Mountain Avenue just south of Speedway Boulevard) is usually available on the weekend for $2 per hour. Visitor parking on Highland Avenue, Main Gate, Park Avenue, Cherry Avenue and Tyndall Avenue garages is free on weekends and holidays pending special event parking restrictions. Other parking options are available around the area as well. More information is available on the Story Time website.
