Awards of up to $3,000 Supported With Expert Instruction to Help You Succeed
NSF Innovation Corps or "I-Corps" is an initiative to prepare scientists and engineers to expand their focus beyond the laboratory and increase the impact of basic research through building an understanding of their target market.
Why might I-Corps be right for you?
The I-Corps Site program provides:
- Grants of up to $3,000 for teams to travel and get to know who the customers are for their inventions.
- Six weekly class sessions to help teams focus on customer discovery, learn the "lean launch" startup method and polish their plans, knowledge and presentation skills.
- Experienced mentors and entrepreneurs who help teams define and refine their strategies.
Applications for the winter 2019 cohort are due January 16 at 5:00 PM.
