I am pleased to announce Timothy Schwab has joined University Information Technology Services (UITS) as Executive Director of Administrative Technologies, effective Monday, March 12, 2018. Tim is a member of the UITS executive leadership team and will report to Barry Brummund, Chief Information Officer.

In this new role, Tim is responsible for the delivery of technology to support the University's administration and business operations. He manages a broad range of systems and services that support the business and administrative needs of the institution, including PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management systems, the Kuali Financials and Kuali Research Administration systems, and Mobile Application Development. Tim will also work closely with our Business Affairs division and act as their enabler for leveraging technology to advance their mission.

Tim is an information technology (IT) leader with more than 28 years of experience in a vast array of IT applications. This includes the design and delivery of high performance IT applications from all aspects of project life cycle, from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, user testing/training, and enhancements. Tim was most recently Director of Enterprise Applications with Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) where he led the application delivery and support for critical business processes in support of Master Data Management, Finance, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, HR legal, Product Management, and IT.
