Worlds of Words, College of Education
November 16, 2016

You are invited to a special preview of authors and illustrators for children and teens coming to the Tucson Festival of Books in March 2017. The preview will take place on Dec. 4, 1 p.m. at the College of Education, Room 453. Participate in stations set up around Worlds of Words to gather ideas and resources:

  • Take in brief book talks and introductions to the books and festival authors.
  • Gather information to use in introducing these books and authors to children and teens.
  • Sign up for author visits and find out how to conduct a successful visit.
  • Receive festival bookmarks, fliers and information.

As an extra incentive, you can visit the exhibition "Code Making and Perspective Taking," featuring original art from The Unbreakable Code and information on American Indian Code Talkers and Arizona experiences of World War II. You can also attend the USS Arizona Mall Memorial Dedication at 3 p.m. in the center of campus.
