NEW PROGRAM: United Kingdom International Education Administrator Seminar – Deadline February 1, 2013

Up to 20 higher education administrators will be selected to participate in a group seminar designed to familiarize U.S. higher education administrators with the United Kingdom’s higher education systems, society and cultures.  The program consists of briefings, campus visits, appointments with selected government officials, cultural activities and meetings with British international education professionals.  Interactive sessions of U.S. and U.K. administrators will be facilitated to share best practice in both directions across the Atlantic.  Participants will also have limited free time to pursue individual professional interests and/or university partnership objectives.  The program will run from August 3 to 23, 2013 and has an application deadline of February 1, 2013.

Applicants should be full-time international education administrators or senior-level university administrators (vice presidents, provosts and presidents) affiliated with a U.S. university, college, community college or nonprofit international education exchange organization. Applicants with particular expertise in the following areas are encouraged to apply: student advising, student services, student recruitment and admissions.  Applicants from other administrative areas that interact with international students are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a minimum of three years full-time work experience as higher education administrators (five years or more strongly preferred).
