Subject: UAGuest WiFi Replaces UAPublic WiFi May 22

Date: May 18, 2016

On May 22, UAPublic, the university's current public wireless network, will be permanently replaced by UAGuest, a new wireless network requiring campus visitors to authenticate with a user name and password.

Campus visitors can select UAGuest from the wireless options on their device, and establish an account valid for five days by entering a username and cell phone number. After five days, guests will need to establish a new account.

Faculty, staff and students should continue to use UAWiFi for fast, secure wireless access on campus.

Documentation for using UAGuest is available at: http://www.uits.arizona.edu/departments/campus-visitors
