Subject: Undergraduate Research Task Force

Date: September 21, 2022

Last spring, we announced the creation of an Undergraduate Research Task Force comprised of faculty, staff, and students with the aim of making world-class research a defining characteristic of the undergraduate experience at the University of Arizona.

The work of the task force began with a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 30. Subcommittee work will be completed by the end of the fall semester. We would like to give faculty and staff another opportunity to join the task force.

If you are interested in serving on the task force, please complete the registration form by Monday, Oct. 3. You will be prompted to identify which of the subcommittees interests you.

We need your input

We ask that faculty and staff providing undergraduate research experiences complete the Current Practices Inventory intake form if you haven't already. This will help us collect data on our current practices and guide our effort by serving as a constant resource to the main task force and its subcommittees.
