Subject: University Phonebook Access Now Requires NetID
Date: Jun 14, 2023

Beginning Thursday, June 15, the University of Arizona phonebook will require a University NetID and password to access individual contact information for students, faculty, staff and designated campus colleagues. This change will help strengthen data privacy and security, limit access to physical location information, and protect against email phishing attempts.

Please note that the Campus Directory, which includes contact information for academic and administrative units, will continue to be publicly available.

As of June 15, go to directory.arizona.edu/phonebook, select "Log in to search" and enter your NetID and password to access the phonebook.

The information contained in the phonebook is sourced from University administrative systems and should be used for official University-related business.

University employees can update their preferred name, phone numbers and personal pronouns in the phonebook by updating their details in UAccess Employee Self Service. Changes are reflected in the phonebook within 24 hours.

For any technical questions or concerns with the University phonebook, contact the 24/7 Support Center at 520-626-TECH (8324).

Thank you for your support as we continue to implement new security enhancements to protect the information and data of the University community.
