We're halfway through our UA Cares Workplace Giving Campaign, which means employees have two more weeks to enroll in payroll deductions to support their favorite University programs or charities. Together we have raised more than $100,000 in pledges this year to support 125 charitable recipients. All employees have until Nov. 4th to enroll.

How to Enroll

Schedule a one-time donation or set up a recurring payroll deduction through UAccess (look for the UA Cares tile on UA Employee Homepage) before the deadline: Friday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m.

Gifts can go to:

  • Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit through the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
  • Any University department, college, program or initiative through the University of Arizona Foundation.

Payroll deductions will begin in January and automatically conclude in December 2023.

You must enroll in this year's campaign to continue a current payroll deduction for the next year.

How to Volunteer During the Campaign

  • Oct. 25: Give blood on campus from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Student Union North Ballroom. Walk-ins are welcome and could help save 300 lives this fall.
  • Oct. 26: Join the College of Engineering for lunch in the Civil Engineering building from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit Friends of PACC and puppies will be on site for cuddles.
  • Oct. 31: Stop by Admin Room 705 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to vote in the Provost’s Pumpkin Carving Contest. Proceeds benefit the Campus Pantry.
  • Contact your UA Cares Ambassador for information on unit-specific events.
