Young Arizona Writers’ Workshop: an intensive weeklong nonresidential creative writing camp and writer's workshop for grades 9-12. YAWW features intensive workshops in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction taught by practicing writers at one of the best creative writing programs in the world here at the University of Arizona. We invite young creative writers to practice and refine their craft, to draft and revise poems, essays, and fiction, and to learn about the ways in which these works get published in the world.
Application deadline: June 3, or until filled; Financial aid may be available upon application.
Dates: June 10-14, 2019.
Cost: $400. Scholarships available (check website). 20% discount for UA employees.
