The much-hyped "Barbie" movie is now screening in a theater near you. Considering that this year has also included films featuring Transformers, Mario and Dungeons and Dragons, it's easy to see that our love for toys and games is as strong as ever.

We asked readers to send us photos of their favorite toys and we have gotten some amazing submissions, including a Barbie decked out in a University of Arizona cheerleading outfit, some vintage dinosaur toys from "The Land Before Time," a troll pencil topper and even a plush frozen banana.

Now it's time for the rest of you to join in on the fun. Whether they're dolls, action figures, Hot Wheels or even old Happy Meal toys, Lo Que Pasa wants to see the toys you have hung on to since childhood.

Take a photo of your favorite toy and send it to andyober@arizona.edu along with your name and title plus a description of the image and any memory it stirs up for you. We will share the images in a future issue of Lo Que Pasa.

And, if you need some inspiration, check out these toy-themed stories on the University of Arizona News website:
