TLA Announces Summer Startup Experience Internship, Now Accepting Applications
Tech Launch Arizona, the University office dedicated to commercializing inventions stemming from University research and innovation, is excited to announce a new internship program open to all enrolled students!
Announcing the Summer Startup Experience
Through the Summer Startup Experience, students who apply will get matched with a great, high-tech University of Arizona startup. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their education, cultivate their entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills, and strengthen their professional networks, all while making a meaningful contribution to the advancement of a University startup.
If selected for the program, they'll work directly with the company to prepare an Internship Agreement that sets forth the expectations for the student and the startup team, and then they'll be off and running. Interns receive a $5,000 stipend deposited into their bursar's account.
What About Eligibility?
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled for the upcoming academic year.
How Do Students Apply?
To be considered for the program, students should submit:
- A resume that includes your experience and lists your business, technical and computing skills.
- A cover letter that expresses why you are interested in the program and what you hope to learn from the internship.
