UAnnounce is the place where you can submit news on behalf of your department, unit or program. Get the word out to campus about upcoming events, job postings, retirements, new programs and services, and more. You must have a UA NetID and password to submit a UAnnounce memo. Memos are organized into two categories:
- All-UA memos contain information that is relevant to all or most of the UA community and pertain to the operations of the institution.
- Campus Notes contain information that may be of interest to some members of the campus community and may or may not pertain to the operations of the institution.
To share your news, click the "Submit Memo" button. All memos published on UA@Work can be viewed by members of the public and are archived and searchable.
I am delighted to announce that Prof. Marc Miller has agreed to serve as Dean of the James E. Rogers College of Law on an interim basis, effective November 1, 2012.
The Search Advisory Committee is now soliciting nominations from all members of the university community for this important leadership position.
I am pleased to announce that after much campus and constituency consultation Christian (Chris) Schreiber has been selected to be the University Information Security Officer effective December 3, 2012. He replaces Cathy Bates, who served as the University ISO from June 2010 through August 2012.
The Information Security Office has been working with campus stakeholders to update several of our standards and guidelines so that they include appropriate HIPAA Security Rule requirements, as well as other compliance program requirements. These documents have been vetted by stakeholders, and approved by the Information Security Advisory Committee.
